Stanislas Jourdan is a Brussels-based expert in EU macroeconomics and sustainable finance. Currently an associate researcher at the Sustainable Finance Lab (Utrecht University) and the New Economics Foundation, he previously served as the director of a European NGO dedicated to central banking.

Stanislas Jourdan is a Brussels-based independent expert in EU macroeconomics and sustainable finance. Currently an associate researcher at the Sustainable Finance Lab (Utrecht University) and the New Economics Foundation, he works at the intersection between the academic community and policymakers in the EU institutions. Previouly, Stanislas served as the director of Positive Money Europe (2015–2023), leading impactful advocacy campaigns on central banking and monetary policy. Today, he regularly advises and collaborates with think tanks, policymakers, and academic bodies on European macroeconomic governance and the green transition.
